Description

Da Hong Pao is highly oxidized oolong tea. 80% oxidation is almost as close as a black tea. The leave size among other styles of tea are some of the largest. The most well-know Da Hong Pao is from Wu Yi Mountain area. The liquor has dark amber and deep golden color with rich and Scotch-like flavor. One of the tea you can't miss for your Chinese Oolong expedition.

How to make?

10 grams
200ML
90℃
Steep 10 seconds for the frist brew , 15 seconds for the second and another 15 seconds for the third .

 

Brewing Instructions :

1.Water :
The quality of water used as an impact on the quality of the tea. We are recommended using filtered water. Heat water to the recommended temperature using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.

2.Temperature :
Heat fresh water to rolling boil or to a temperature of 90℃.

3.Loose Leaf :
Use the infuser of your choice, measure 10g of tea . For a stronger brew preference, add an additional teaspoon for the pot.

4.Infusion Time :
Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea leaves. 1st infusion 10 Seconds, 2nd infusion 15 seconds, 3rd infusion 15 seconds. All an additional 5 seconds for each subsequent brew depending on personal 
preference
