The quality of water used as an impact on the quality of the tea. We are recommended using filtered water. Heat water to the recommended temperature using an electric hot water heater or a stove top kettle.
Tieh Kwan Yin: Heat fresh water to rolling boil or to a temperature of 95℃.
Pu-Erh Tea: 98℃; Dahongpao: 95℃; Black Tea: 90℃
3.Loose Leaf :
Tieh Kwan Yin: Use the infuser of your choice, measure 10g of tea . For a stronger brew preference, add an additional teaspoon for the pot.
Pu-Erh Tea: measure 5g of tea; Dahongpao: measure 10g of tea; Black Tea: measure 5g of tea
4.Infusion Time :
Tieh Kwan Yin: Once the water reaches the appropriate temperature, it should be poured immediately over the tea leaves. 1st infusion 25 seconds, 2nd infusion 10 seconds, 3rd infusion 20 seconds. All an additional 5 seconds for each subsequent brew depending on personal preference.
Pu-Erh Tea: 1st infusion 15 seconds, 2nd infusion 15 seconds, 3rd infusion 40 seconds.
Dahongpao: 1st infusion 10 seconds, 2nd infusion 15 seconds, 3rd infusion 15 seconds
Black Tea: 1st infusion 15 seconds, 2nd infusion 8 seconds, 3rd infusion 12 seconds
